Very unique restaurant cozy family atmosphere quick friendly servers our waitress was above excellent we enjoyed our food only downside is parking is very tight but we managed! We will be back!

Great food and a really fun decor. They have train tracks all around the restaurant and automatically deliver your check via a little train. My kids loved that! They said “this place is magical!” We will definitely be back. 👍😀

We were stunned that at 8:30pm on a Saturday night that there was still a 30 minute wait, but it was worth the wait. The environment is very unique, fun and the music is lively. The prices are pretty good as well. We ordered enchiladas, chimichangas and pork carnitas and everyone enjoyed their food. Our only challenge was that we had to continuely ask for more salsa and chips.

Great atmosphere, amazing food, in our American world of fast food it felt like a breath of fresh air. From the outside it looked like it was going to be run-down and low quality, but once you make it inside it reveals itself as one of the best Mexican restaurants I've ever been to. Highly recommended for basically anyone, even those people who are less tolerant of spicy foods (not everything they have is super spicy).

We had a great experience at Dos Taquitos. Staff are very accommodating. One of my favorite spots in Raleigh. Recommend trying the Clintro Margarita. Will return and would recommend to a friend. Fair prices and excellent table salsa

This place is amazing!!! The bartender is very friendly and a great personality, despite the fact that I changed my order at the last minute, she was still smiling and kept a great attitude. The atmosphere is comfortable and soothing, almost like a club-like scenery. And the food....MUAH....loved it!

The food tasted great. You can tell it was made from scratch with care. The decor of the restaurant was very interesting. Every time I turned my head there was something that caught my eye!

We absolutely LOVE this Mexican restaurant! The food is always cooked to perfection! The staff are always so friendly and check on you frequently. The food is served quickly...even on a busy Friday night. This is a great place to bring family and friends. The decorations are so unique and very entertaining to look at. I love the authenticity about this place!

My wife and I had been looking for a new Mexican restaurant to eat at. We looked and looked, finally we found Dos Taquitos! This restaurant is the Bomb! The inside of this.place is Amazing. The food and service are top notch! I recommend this restaurant to everyone!

A visual treat of eclectic decor piled everywhere yet somehow seems organized. Pretty good fish tacos, and oh did I mention chips and salsa delivered by toy train? We walked across the driveway for delicious ice cream after too!

Yum. We've been going to Dos Taquitos since we got married right after they first opened- like 27 years ago. We love the food here, and the owners and staff are super nice. Check out the little trains that deliver your chips.My husband loves the flag enchiladas, and the mole enchiladas the best. I really like ordering the Fajitas, hold the peppers, add mushrooms. The rest of the time, it's all steak tacos for me. The restaurant is quirky, and fun, and they use an eclectic assortment of items that you might find in a garage sale in all kinds of interesting, and different ways. It really has to be seen to be believed. Each time you go, there is something new and different. - Really cool. The food is amazing, and this is one of our family's favorite hang-outs.

I've been eating here for 10 years previously when they were at the old location and their food, service and ambiance is awesome. It's like you aren't in Raleigh but that you have taken it step away from life and you can breathe. Their margaritas are fantastic. Personally I recommend their Dos Taquitos one... their homemade salsa is awesome and steak burritos are a win everytime!

The food was very fresh! The greens were exceptionally crisp, and they had chickens for fresh eggs. Our waiter was also very attentive and made sure that we were well taken care of. This is a great place with random bits of art displayed everywhere.

Nice restaurant! This place looks rough from the outside but inside it is so uniquely decorated. They also have outdoor seating. The service was excellent and the food was delicious! Some of the best cheese dip I have ever had! Highly recommended!

Food was pretty good. My steak was still pretty tough for a med. rare, but service was awesome (Our server was Sarah/Sara, ASK FOR HER!) and the guava empanada is TO DIE FOR! Will definitely be back to try other stuff, but empanada is a must.

I ate here 15 years ago when I was visiting and never forgot about the food. This evening I finally went back and was not disappointed. I love this place

Great Mexican place in town. Had the mole and took some home. Can't wait to go back and try more. Some tables have a small rail train that provides salsa, queso, your check, etc, adorable and kid friendly. Lots of decor for a family feel.

Best enchiladas I've ever had. Service is slow. Decor is very interesting and kitschy, which I like. The chicken tortilla soup is also really good!

The vibe inside is so incredible! Not like anything you'd ever see! Their "queso" (cheese dip" was amazing! Went in for lunch and was not disappointed!

Decent food but $40 for 2 (no appetizer or drinks) for Mexican food is pretty expensive. The decor is funky and fun.

We come here lots with out of town friends and enjoy it every time. My favorite dish is the Qeeeeeeusadila which is so cheeeeeesy. The staff is so wonderful and are all so nice. We love everyone there and once you go twice or more they will recognize you and make pleasant conversation with you.

I've been to many different Mexican restaurants in the area. They all charge more for the same dishes and none of them come close to touching the flavor of the food at Dos Taquitos. I live 45 minutes away from this restaurant, but it will always be my go-to for the food, price and atmosphere.

You feel like you got to Mexico on the outside, but you know you are when you eat inside, with staff/food and the environment.

Tried the Mole Enchiladas after years of wanting to try that sauce--they we're great! Ana was the server & she was super cheerful, pleasant, and knowledgeable! Dos Taquitos has a ton of character and evidently a ton of great food 👍

AMAZING, authentic Mexican food!!! Loved the decor and service, almost felt like my childhood days in Mexico. From the chairs, to the lights, and the awesome train used to deliver queso and your bill!Also, this place on the list of haunted places. Cannot wait to ask my server about it :)

Definitely a fun and festive atmosphere! The food is delicious and my girlfriend and I really enjoyed everything. We had a great waiter who made the experience even better. Definitely will be back but just be warned if it's a weekend you will be waiting for probably 30 to 65 mins. Just come prepared and get a drink at the bar while you wait.

I love the atmosphere here. The mole and smoky sauces are so good. There is this dish that comes with 3 enchiladas with a different sauce on each. Que rico!

Tried this place based on a recommendation. Love the decorations and atmosphere. I got a chicken burrito and it came yuca fries which were hot and fresh. The food was delicious and menu prices were reasonable. I will be coming back anytime I'm in Raleigh.

Great taquitos and excellent margaritas! Chips and salsa are as addictive as imagined. So glad I stopped in to try this place out. This West Coast girl is happy! No need to go anywhere else in Raleigh for authentic Mexican cuisine!

Love this spot! It's be hard to find authentic Latin food that knows what it's talking about. Look at the menu, you'll understand what I'm saying. Every dish tastes great here! The fun Latin music isn't blaring in your face and it actually adds to the cozy atmosphere. I would definitely recommend Dos Taquitos to anyone. Keep up the great work ♥️

Hands down no question whatsoever the best Mexican Restaurant in Raleigh. We do not go anywhere else. We drive over an hour from home to come eat here and we had them cater our wedding which they did an outstanding job of. I could go on and on but the point is if you want Mexican, go to Dos Taquitos.

So I just recently moved to the area and decided to give this place a try after reading all the good reviews. I am so happy I did. Anita in the bar area was a pleasure! She made me feel very welcome and recommend a few of her favorites. The house margarita was on point and the arroz bowl from the brunch menu was amazing!!!!! I highly recommend this place and I will definitely be coming back! Thank you for the amazing experience.

Had a great lunch here. The decor and food are more authentic than most of Raleigh's texmex. Service was friendly and flexible. We had a couple substitutions to be veterinarian for one person and everything was delicious. Plan to bring the family back.

My wife and I have meant to try this place for months. We have finally tried it (twice, now!) and are pleasantly impressed. Both times were order ahead/pick up in the parking lot due to COVID, and the staff has been ON POINT both times. Super gracious and appreciative of our business, and they were absolutely hustling. Employees literally running back and forth between cars and the restaurant. Second time they were pretty backed up and we waited about 20min in the parking lot, but cars were pouring in so I imagine they had a ton of orders. They definitely get the benefit of the doubt with as crazy as everything is currently. The food is delicious and we can’t wait to come back and finally try Dos Taquitos as a sit down meal once things return to normal.
